Activities I would recommend are yoga or meditation. If playing some sport makes you feel good, then I would suggest taking time out of your weekly schedule to play at least 3 times a week. It adds to an overall feeling of satisfaction and contentment.

What Drives Me to Stay Fit:

I think fitness should be a lifestyle! Being a bodybuilder, I take pride in efforts put in maintaining my body as well as following a strict fitness routine. I consider my body as a temple and strive to keep it in shape always.

Daily Fitness Routine:

The day starts with blood-flow boosting cardio followed by meal prep. My daily routine involves personally coaching clients at the gym and online coaching. As my daily routine is in parallel with my clients, it helps me keep focused and keeps me motivated.

Exercise Recommended for Good Sleep:

In my personal opinion, one should always make time for basic exercise. This not only helps in keeping oneself healthy but also helps sleeping better.

Activities Recommended for Good Sleep:

A person should at least spend 45 minutes to 1 hour to indulge in any kind of activity like running, jogging, playing, or gyming. This will help lower the stress level, boost blood flow, and prepare the body for a sound sleep.

After the daily activity, it is recommended to rest on a surface that helps muscles and joints relax. For the fitness conscious, it is very important to take proper sleep to maintain the results achieved after a daily workout. Sleep on a surface that promotes muscle recovery, relaxation, and rejuvenation. Also, look for a surface that promotes pressure relief to relax joints, blood flow in the body, and takes shape of your body to maintain natural alignment of the spine and head.

What Drives You to Stay Fit:

Fitness holds importance to lead a strong healthy and fit life. Quality sleep, consumption of nutritious food, healthy social and personal relationship, traveling, and successful carrier, when added together result in a healthy lifestyle.

Daily Fitness Routine:

I wake up between 5:30 to 6 AM every day. Drink a glass of water followed by running or cardio session for one hour. After a healthy breakfast, I leave for the office at 8:30 AM. Around 11 AM, I usually consume light snacks like idly or sprouts with a glass of juice. In lunch, I usually consume a home-cooked meal with salad and prefer non-veg twice a week. Around 4 PM, I have some fruits or sprouts available in the cafeteria of my office. In dinner, I usually consume a healthy combo of pulses, rice, and chappatis. For a fresh start in the morning, I end my day around 10:30 PM.

Exercise for Good Sleep

Exercise is very much needed for good sleep. Working out has proven to improve the quality of sleep. It also helps in power wake up and reducing tossing & turning during sleep. For a good sleep, I would recommend shoulders press, squats, lunges, and running.

Activities Recommended for Good Sleep

Stick to the same wake-up schedule every day and even on weekends. Practice a calming bedtime ritual like reading a book, listening to soothing music, or related. If you face trouble catching a snooze, avoid naps in the afternoon, exercise daily, and invest in a good sleep surface.
